I think I hate the beginning of a semester more than almost anything else in existence right now.
Mostly because of my job. ; _;
The training wouldn't have even been that bad... it was *one* week of a full 40 hours, but... oh, I don't even want to talk about the training except to say that it stressed me beyond belief and completely ruined my mood.
Check-ins are just as stressful so far. Trying to get all of the new students into their rooms. T ___T It's not that I don't like people, it's just that they're all... so... needy. I'm being as nice as I can, and maybe I'm being too nice ; ____ ; because they won't stop knocking on my door. Day before yesterday I worked starting at 9 am, and then I was on duty at night >_> so I actually didn't even get off of work until 5pm YESTERDAY. D: But then when I got off of work, people were bothering me and knocking on my door until at least 9pm.

I put up a sign saying I was asleep, and any knocks after that, I ignored. XD;; There has to be a point where you're left alone to SLEEP. God.

So now it's 6am and I'm up already and this is my only day off before school starts.

Let's see what's stressing me out right now:
~My loan has yet to be approved, class starts on September 9th, I have NO SCHOOL MONEY YET
~I have 2 "programs" (building events) coming up that I have to prepare for when I'm not even ready for my classes.
~I have to close down my bank account. When am I supposed to do this? ; _; On my only day off, of course.
~I HAVE NO QUARTERS TO DO LAUNDRY and I have a pile of laundry at least four feet high. T_____T
~My mom keeps telling me I can buy things (like... groceries, and a few school supplies I know I'll need, and okay I bought manga ; -; but she said I could buy some stuff that day gosh) and saying that she will pay for them, but isn't here to give me the money right now so I spend what I have and she will pay me back, and I haven't gotten any of it back and I think she's "forgetting". When I talk to her on the phone she complains about money when I know she's been like... going to Reno and Half Moon Bay and going shopping and stuff almost every day. ; _; she could just tell me that no she won't pay for the stuff, because then I wouldn't buy it at all.
Because now I have like five dollars and I don't know when I'll have more money. So leading into the next one...
~I HAVE FIVE DOLLARS and that is all. I can't get a paying job because I already have a job taking up all of my time. This job gets me a room, but no money. Once classes start I definitely won't have time for two jobs, because then I will have no time for homework.
~I have no clean towels. D:<<<
~My mom keeps calling me and wanting me to come home for stuff and I don't think she understands that even if I did have the time, I'm in no mood because some of my best friends just got fired from being RAs AFTER THEY TRAINED, I have no money, I have no money for CLASSES, she keeps saying she'll lend me money for my Japanese class and now it is too late and I can't take that class, I'm running out of clean clothes and... I HAVE NO MONEY.
~Also I spent $50 on groceries and my mom said she'd pay for that, and I got $60 back, but $40 of it was from a BIRTHDAY CARD.
Does it seem unfair to pay me back with my birthday money ; _; ?? My mom doesn't pay for my classes or anything else, but promised to pay for groceries. I don't think this is right. T^T I was waiting for that birthday money and now I technically spent it on groceries. Goddammit. XD;


I think I'm done complaining.

2:34AM - OH LORD.

I'M GOING TO THE PRIDE PARADE TOMORROW.
Not even tonight can stop me. XD

Tonight was sooo crazy. ; 3; I was on duty, and my building is all high schoolers in a summer program my school runs, so they have a curfew. Weekends is midnight... they all turn their IDs in. There are some high schoolers across the street, but not all are high schoolers. I went over there to take IDs, and when people don't turn them in I get to knock on their doors, and if they're not there I get to call their parents, etc. etc. etc. This can last for hours. Anyway... while I was over there, when I came back down to the lobby for the elevator, Kat (the RA on duty at that building, and one of my friends) was there with some girl who was totally drunk/passed out and the girl's friends. In the room we found toooons of alchohol and empty bottles and shit. Dealt with the whole long-ass thing and got back to the other building at 1:45am-ish, finished finding students in this building, and it is now 2:30am. BUT I WILL STILL GO TO THE PARADE because it's supposed to be awesome and I'm going with some people I just met that seem really nice.

And then I can sleep after that because I don't work for another two days. THANK GODS.
Because I've pulled 3 16-hour days already. Sheesh.

9:33PM - there you go again

I got my nose pierced. :] It's just a tiny stud for now. After healing, I'll replace it with a silver ring and post a picture. (About 2 months, hah.)
My lip should be healed again soon, too. I set it back about a week by accidentally biting on the flat back inside my mouth and tearing the scar tissue. ; 3;
It really hurt. D'8


So I got all gung-ho about dyeing my hair tonight, and I bought a bleach kit and some auburn hair dye. I bleached it, and it looked weird and orangey as expected. Then, I dyed it auburn... and it doesn't look that different from before I bleached it. XO I mean, it's nice, but not bright reddish like I wanted. It's more like... auburn at the top and fades into black. XD Oh, well. I still like it.

I also bought fake eyelashes and they look awesome. BD

My work schedule for this week (check-ins) has been so hectic that I don't even want to talk about it except to say that I worked 14 hours yesterday.
Someone was nice and took my 2nd shift today, so I could finally get some sleep.



I'm supposed to be working on a short comic this summer, but I haven't even started the thumbnails yet. OH THE SHAME.

I don't know what else to talk about. My mood right now is "-----------------". So yeah.

I read my Flist by the way, just don't really have the inclination to respond to anyone although I'm glad everyone's doing relatively well. x3

4:50PM - Fuck unicorns!

I haven't even started cutting them out yet, and I know that by the time this project is over, my love of unicorns is going to be severely compromised.
I've gotta make the 28 nametags for the hallway I'm RAing, and I decided... to make... UNICORNS. I guess it's my fault. I should have been like "BEACH BALLS!" or something. XD

Man, training was intense. D: It was only four days in a row, but 8 hours of listening to people talk and learning how to deal with everything from fires and earthquakes to drugs, parties and suicide? D:
We even had a day of "roleplaying" where we had to knock on the door and pretend we were an RA. There were other RAs acting as students... and it was crazy. XD A neighbor in the apartment next to the dorm we were in actually called security on us, because Amber ran outside to kick this guy's ass (not really, but, you know), and they thought it was a real fight. 

I hope all of that shit was worst-case scenario, because... oh man. The unicorns are the least of my worries.

Also... it's been, oh, a consistent 30 or so degrees in my room.
Totally fucking serious, I finally got a thermometer in here. Things should be FREEZING. (I know *I* am.) The weather online is a total lie; there was a forecast that was taken from apparently 6 blocks away on Van Ness and it was trying to tell me it was overcast and 59 degrees. There wasn't a fucking cloud outside and I can see my breath a bit in my room. >:|  *bundled up* I could die! D:

My hands are the coldest, because I do everything with my hands @_@ (draw, make unicorns, write.. type D: ) and I can't feel them very well. Gahhhh.
